I wanna go home too.

I am overwhelmed. Thank Heavens for telecommunications. E-mail, voicemail, long distance SMS, intercontinental mobile-to-mobile calling and calls wired through hospital dispatch.

9 months of anticipation and Isabelle’s finally here! Even her crying is sweet enough to draw out immediate tears from my tired eyes. Already a heartbreaker! Just a few hours old and this little sassy girl is charming the pants off her “Auntie” Adrienne. I wish I could be there to kiss her little face. I’d give one of my three wishes to be back there with my girls and this new addition to our crew. Can you love someone you haven’t yet seen before? I guess I know the answer to that.

Congratulations, Judy and Nathan. You’ve done good. I can’t wait to meet your bundle of joy. Welcome to the world, Isabelle!
